About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed GCSE English Teacher to join our team, delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to support our learners in achieving their full potential. You'll play a key role in designing and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that meet curriculum standards and reflect industry needs.

Through the development of a successful and sustainable college for the future we will be responsive to key government, regional and local drivers in relation to skills needs and work closely with our key strategic partners to meet those needs, ensuring learners and work ready.

Further Education (FE) provides a host of opportunities for our students 16-18 today retaking their GCSEs in English and Maths as well as providing Adults with the scope to further develop their English and maths skills. Working in FE enables you to explore and experiment with your own teaching style alongside a supportive and creative team of passionate English staff.

Requirements

Must-Have:

• Holds a degree (or equivalent) in an English-related subject

• Holds (or is working towards) a recognised teaching qualification

• Holds a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths

• Has relevant vocational experience in the English sector

• Experience of teaching GCSE qualifications

Candidates who do not meet the criteria will not be shortlisted
